Stephen Sudderth, MD, FACS, is board certified in the core treatment of obesity serving Central and Southern MS. Dr. Sudderth receive the highest certification of achievement available in the United States to a practitioner in the specialty of comprehensive treatment for patients diagnosed with obesity. Physicians who complete the American Board of Obesity Medicine Certification for the treatment of comprehensive non-surgical weight loss are designated Diplomats of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. Dr. Sudderth offers this gold-standard treatment for obesity serving Central and Southern MS. Dr. Sudderth is also a BioTE Certified physician for the treatment of hormone optimization with Bio Identical Hormone Therapy for men and women. Dr. Stephen Sudderth is also a board certified, recertified general surgeon and active member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Julie Varnier has been a Physician Assistant for 14 years receiving her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and her undergraduate degree in Biology from Delta State University. She is NCCPA Board Certified and is a member of The Obesity Medicine Association. She has practiced in multiple specialties and in surgical, inpatient, and outpatients arenas. She brings her vast clinical experience to provide comprehensive history and physical examinations, assist patients in achieving their weight loss goals through dietary modifications & lifestyle changes, and if applicable prescribing FDA approved medications to obtain their weight loss goals and improve overall health. Mrs. Varnier is Biote Certified to treat patient utilizing Bio-Identical, all natural hormone therapy for men and women.
Sandra Phelps
Sandra Phelps received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of South Alabama in 2014 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The University of Southern Mississippi. She is NCCPA Board Certified and is a member of The Obesity Medicine Association. Sandra is trained in the field of bariatric medicine, using a comprehensive history and physical exam to tailor therapy to each patient’s needs. Miss Phelps is Biote Certified to treat patient utilizing Bio-Identical, all natural hormone therapy for men and women. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve success and meaningful weight loss to improved their physical and mental health.
